Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CalHire ("the Service"), operated by CalHire Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CalHire is an AI-powered hiring platform that provides job posting, resume screening, candidate assessment, AI interviews, scorecards, and offer management. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Accounts are authenticated via passwordless one-time-password (OTP) sent to your email address. We do not store passwords.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract AI models or algorithms
• Submit false or misleading job postings
• Discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics
• Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent abuse protections
• Share account credentials with unauthorized users

5. AI Processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence to evaluate candidates. AI assessments are tools to assist human decision-making, not replacements for it. Final hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated scores or evaluations.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy. All candidate data processed by AI is anonymized before being sent to AI models.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of CalHire Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Content you upload (job descriptions, candidate data) remains your intellectual property. You grant us a license to process this content solely to provide the Service.

8. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period. Enterprise plans may have custom billing terms.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Enterprise customers receive SLA-backed uptime guarantees as specified in their agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalHire Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
