CalHire is an identity broker for hiring. Candidates prove their skills once, employers evaluate them anonymously on ability, and real identity is revealed only when both sides agree. Proof replaces pedigree — and no one gets ghosted.

What we were tired of

Hiring deserved better than a document

Four problems with résumé-first hiring convinced us to start over.

    The résumé rewards the right school and the right names — not whether someone can actually do the job.

  • Easy to embellish

    Anyone can inflate a résumé. There was no trustworthy, verified signal of real ability.

    Most applicants never hear back. Ghosting is the norm, and it’s demoralizing and unfair.
